UNICEF Cameroon is led by a Representative, assisted by two Deputies in charge of programmes and operations respectively, and a team of sections, units and programme specialists in each of its sections which include most notably Education, Child Protection, Health, Water Hygiene and Sanitation, Nutrition, Social and Behavioral Change, Social Policy etc. UNICEF has several decades of experience, working with the Government’s Ministries. UNICEF has robust teams of officers and specialists under the respective lead of their chiefs of section.

At the decentralized level, UNICEF Cameroon has three sub-offices. In 2012, a UNICEF office was opened in Bertoua for the East and Adamawa regions, to respond to educational issues linked to the Baka community and Central African refugees.

UNICEF also has offices in the Far North (Maroua) and Southwest (Buea) Regions. UNICEF has an outreach post in the Northwest Region (Bamenda) and a logistics hub in the Littoral Region (Douala).
