In Eastern and Southern Africa, young people ages 10–24 make up a powerful force of over 250 million, each one representing the region’s potential for a brighter and more inclusive future. Even with limited opportunities to amplify their powerful voices, many of these young people are stepping up to make a positive change in their communities. They are youth advocates that are pushing for positive change in areas like Mental Health, Climate Change, Safety, Equality and more, they want to shape a better future. Although these youth advocates face many challenges, from social barriers to limited resources, they remain eager to make a positive impact across the region.
