About

The Safeguarding Focal Point is a designated individual within an organization or institution responsible for leading and coordinating efforts to protect people—especially vulnerable groups—from harm, abuse, exploitation, and neglect. This document is a sample Terms of Reference (TOR) to guide the role of the focal point.

This is a sample resource designed to be flexible. It should be adapted to fit the specific situation/needs of your organization or community.
