About

Yemen’s protracted crisis continues to expose millions of children to heightened risks of violence, exploitation, and deprivation. With basic services strained and communities under pressure, safe, structured spaces are more critical than ever. UNICEF-supported community centers provide a lifeline—offering integrated child protection services, psychosocial support, and access to legal and health referrals, while fostering resilience through learning, play, and community engagement.

Sustained and expanded investment is needed to maintain these services and reach more vulnerable children, especially in displacement settings. By strengthening community centers, we can protect children today while equipping them with the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to rebuild their futures.
