UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund and works tirelessly in more than 191 countries for the rights of children, especially the most vulnerable.
The origin of UNICEF dates back to the time after the Second World War, when millions of children suffered from deprivation of access to basic services and food, as a consequence of the armed conflict.
In Venezuela, the operation started in 1967, signing the Basic Agreement of Cooperation to support the efforts to attend to the needs of children and promote their rights.

The work of UNICEF either in Venezuela or in the world has its bases in the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and is guided by the principles of Impartiality, Neutrality, Humanity, and Independence.
UNICEF works so that no child and adolescent is left behind in the fulfillment of their rights.
We invite you to know what they are!
