The right to enjoy one's own culture is contemplated in article 30 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), which states the following:

Article 30

In States where there are ethnic, religious, or linguistic minorities or persons of indigenous origin, a child belonging to such minorities or who is indigenous shall not be denied the right, in common with the other members of his or her group, to have their own cultural life, to profess and practice their own religion, or to use their own language.
