UNICEF Sudan's response and needs for Sudan's Flash Floods 2020

Highlights
UNICEF is supporting thousands of families affected by the worst
floods to hit Sudan in over a century. Up to 770,000 people, including
462,000 children have been affected across Sudan’s 18 States.
More than 146,000 houses and 443 schools were either destroyed or
damaged, and some families are seeking shelter in schools, while
some others with extended families and neighbours. Many displaced
from their homes are being accommodated in public buildings, however,
some survivors have been left out in the open.
Sennar, Blue Nile, North Darfur, Khartoum, River Nile and the Northern
State are the most severely impacted.
