World Children's Day celebration with “Mxrningstar”

This year, World Children’s Day 2025 is being celebrated under the theme: “My Day. My Rights.” The theme reminds us that every child has the right to safety, education, health, participation, and a hopeful future — and that their voices should shape the decisions that affect them.

To mark the day in Mongolia, "Mxrningstar" band delivered a special performance as UNICEF Mongolia hosted a vibrant World Children’s Day celebration at the Zaisan Hill Complex, bringing together 500 children for an afternoon filled with joy, learning, and participation. Children took part in interactive activities, shared their ideas, and celebrated the day. 

UNICEF Mongolia’s Ambassador for Adolescents and Youth, Anguuch Battur, also attended the event. He shared the stage with the band and spoke warmly about his own childhood memories with children. His message encouraged children to dream boldly and urged adults to build a society where those dreams can grow.

World Children’s Day serves not only as a celebration, but as a call to action: to listen more, to invest more, and to work together — so every child in Mongolia can enjoy their rights and thrive.
