What we do

How UNICEF protects and promotes the rights of every child in Mongolia.

The Country Programme 2023-2027

UNICEF works with the Government of Mongolia, civil society, development partners and the private sector to ensure that every child survives, thrives and reaches their full potential. Guided by the 2023–2027 Country Programme, UNICEF supports evidence-based policies and innovative solutions to improve child health and nutrition, quality education, child protection, social protection, climate resilience, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and adolescent participation. UNICEF also strengthens emergency preparedness and response, promotes digital transformation and the use of data for decision-making, and advocates for increased public investment in children to reduce inequalities and ensure that no child is left behind.
