अपने सभी अधिकारों की उपलब्धता के कारण बच्चे को अपनी योग्य पहचान और सम्मान के साथ अपने आप को अपनी इष्टतम क्षमता तक संपूर्णतः विकसित करने में सहायता मिलती है।

हर बच्चे के हर अधिकार के लिए

हर बच्चे के अधिकार उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की नींव रखते हैं, ये अधिकार बच्चों को अपनी अलग, मजबूत और खूबसूरत पहचान बनाने में मदद करते हैं।

यूएनसीआरसी (बच्चों के अधिकारों पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र सम्मेलन, १९८९) निर्धारित करता है कि १८ वर्ष से कम आयु के सभी व्यक्तियों को उन की नस्ल, रंग, लिंग, भाषा, धर्म, राय, मूल, धन, जन्म स्थिति या क्षमता की परवाह किए बिना दिए जाने वाले अधिकारों और स्वतंत्रताओं को बाल अधिकार कहा जाता है और इसी कारण सभी बच्चों के लिए बाल अधिकार हर जगह लागू होते हैं।

बाल अधिकार एक-दूसरे से जुड़े हुए और समान रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हैं, यानी एक अधिकार को दूसरे अधिकार की कीमत पर नहीं चुना जाना चाहिए।

अपने सभी अधिकारों तक पहुँच बच्चों को अपनी पहचान और गरिमा के साथ आगे बढ़ने तथा अपनी पूरी क्षमता तक पहुँचने में मदद करती है।

जब बच्चों के अधिकार सुरक्षित होते हैं, तब वे सीखते हैं,खेलते हैं, स्वस्थ और सुरक्षित रहते हैं और खुश रहते हुए अपने सपनों को पूरा कर पाते हैं।

सरकार और साझेदारों के साथ मिलकर यूनिसेफ यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए काम करता है कि भारत में हर बच्चे को उसके सभी अधिकार मिलें। ताकि हर बच्चे को जीवन की अच्छी शुरुआत मिले, वह सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ तरीके से आगे बढ़े और अपनी आवाज़ उठा सके।

हर बच्चे के लिए, सुरक्षा — UNICEF हर बच्चे को हिंसा, शोषण और दुर्व्यवहार से मुक्त रहने का अधिकार है। घर और स्कूल में, समुदाय में या सार्वजनिक रूप से, प्रत्येक बच्चे को एक सुरक्षित और समावेशी वातावरण में विकसित होने का अधिकार है।

For Every Child, Clean Water — UNICEF Access to clean water is a right that every child needs to have. Safe water, sanitary toilets and good hygiene keep children alive and healthy.

For Every Child, Immunization — UNICEF Vaccines are the most effective and safest method to protect children from preventable childhood illnesses. Every child has the right to immunization, that helps them to live safe from life-threatening diseases.

For Every Child, Equity — UNICEF Every child has the right to live in an inclusive world. All children should be given a fair chance to follow their dreams and accomplish their goals, regardless of their circumstances.

For Every Child, Clean Environment — UNICEF Every child must be able to grow up in a clean environment. We owe every child a healthy, habitable planet to grow up in.

For Every Child, Opportunity — UNICEF Every child deserves equitable opportunities to survive, thrive and develop. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that children do not miss out on opportunities critical to their development.

For Every Child, Nutrition — UNICEF Good nutrition is fundamental to every child’s survival and development. Every child has the right to receive enough nourishment to grow healthy, irrespective of being a girl or a boy.

For Every Child, Education — UNICEF Every child has the right to education, wherever they come from. Every child must be able to learn and complete schooling.

For Every Child, Play — UNICEF Every child, girl and boy, has the right to play sports, run freely, play happily, and enjoy life to the fullest. Playing helps children to grow up into healthy and happy people.

For Every Child, Voice A child’s opinion must never be silenced. They have the right to express themselves freely on issues and their voice counts. As adults, we should take children’s perspective seriously.

For Every Child, Safe Space Children on the move are children first. Every migrant child should be protected by the same rights that protect all other children in a country, a continent and the world.
