The General Assembly, Having considered the resolution adopted by the Economic and Social Council at its third session recommending tie creation of an International Children's Emergency Fund to be utilized for the benefit of children and adolescents of countries which were the victims of aggression, and recognizing the desirability of establishing such a Fund in accordance with Article 55 of the Charter of the United Nations.
