Programme of work 2026, as at 5 September 2025

The annual programme of work for the UNICEF Executive Board is a flexible framework. It is revised, as needed, by the Office of the Secretary throughout the year based on requests made by the Executive Board and other proposals endorsed by the Bureau.

The proposed programme of work for the following year is made available six weeks in advance of the second regular session and posted on the “Executive Board documents” page on this website, in accordance with established practice.

The programme of work is indicative and can be changed at any time by the Bureau. The latest version of the programme of work is linked above.
