UNICEF extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the First Lady Entissar Elsisi for her sponsorship of the National Girls' Empowerment Initiative ‘Dawwie’ supported by UNICEF.

This is testament to her Excellency’s support for the rights of girls and her belief in their ability.

It also confirms the political determination that every girl must have equal opportunity to skills and services in order to achieve her ambitions and to be able to contribute to the Egyptian Family Development Program, as part of Egypt’s Vision 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Dawwie is implemented in 21 governorates across Egypt. It allows girls to express themselves, and to develop their life and digital skills for an equal and prosperous society.
