Work with UNICEF
Want to help us change the world for the better? With the right skills, experience and motivation, you could be just the person we are looking for to join our team.
Please note that UNICEF does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, traveling, processing, training or any other fees), and it does not request any banking information.
Such fraudulent correspondence may appear legitimate: they may feature a UNICEF logo, appear to originate from an official-looking email address or web site, or they may be sent by individuals purporting to represent UNICEF or an entity which includes the word UNICEF in its name. These fraudulent schemes mislead individuals with the purpose to extract money and/or personal information.
UNICEF only advertises its employment opportunities on its global Careers website and the Vacancies page, or on the websites of its National Committees. UNICEF also utilizes bona fide and established media, newspapers, as well as online professional platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) and job boards to disseminate its vacancies. All job offers are made by UNICEF human resources personnel following a competitive process.

Supplies are essential to fulfil children’s rights. Supporting child survival and development programmes around the world, UNICEF-procured supplies are critical in providing for children’s health, education and protecting them from abuse, exploitation, and neglect.
UNICEF procures and supplies over 5,000 products to address the needs of children.
As well as supporting UNICEF’s ongoing programmatic activities, the Supply function provides rapid supply response to emergencies.
UNICEF also procures and supplies essential commodities on behalf of governments and other partners in their efforts. These procurement services can also include in-country logistics, capacity building, and project management.
Ensuring the global availability of essential supplies through influencing markets for lifesaving commodities such as vaccines, essential medicines and health products, and implementing a range of supply chain models to ensure these supplies are delivered to children, are two overarching focuses.
UNICEF Statement on Attempted Fraud and Impersonation in the Tourism Market
The UNICEF Country Office in Egypt would like to inform all tourism and travel agencies in Egypt that our office has no relation to the recent “CALL OF TENDER” and attempts to purchase airline tickets for staff members.
We would like to thank the travel agency that contacted the UNICEF Country Office in Egypt to verify the information. This case has been shared with the UN procurement group in Egypt.
In the future, please consider the following information and criteria to verify authenticity concerning official travel requests from the UNICEF country office in Egypt:
- UNICEF Egypt Office works with travel agencies that have signed UN Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) as a result of an official tender. Travel agencies that have signed UN LTAs receive requests for airline ticket price quotations from an officially assigned contact person from the UNICEF Egypt Office. Travel agencies that have not signed UN LTAs are not contacted with requests to arrange official travels.
- The authenticity of any announced ongoing tender can be verified through www.ungm.org or www.unicef.org/egypt/ websites.
- In addition, all official UNICEF email addresses end with the unicef.org mail domain (e.g. [email protected]). No other mail domain is used by UNICEF globally."
