Highlights
According to official statistics from the Polish Ministry of National Education, 5.2 million individuals were enrolled in various educational institutions, both public and non-public, during the 2023/24 school year. This figure includes students from preschool to adult post-secondary schools. Nearly 7% of these students were foreigners from various countries. This report focuses particularly on the 134,000 school-aged children and youth from Ukraine with refugee backgrounds within the Polish education system. The analysis is based on data available from April 2024.
