Financial Assistance Programme for Refugee Children from Ukraine with Disabilities with Temporary Protection in the Czech Republic


UNICEF, in partnership with the Czech Red Cross (CRC) and in coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) will provide financial assistance for Ukrainian refugee children with disabilities with temporary protection in the Czech Republic.

The “Financial Assistance Programme for Ukrainian Refugee Children with Disabilities” will provide a CZK 6,600 (US$ 308) per month to eligible refugee children from Ukraine with disability up to the age of 17 who have been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic.  The benefit is paid to the primary carer of the child with disabilities. The program will also support the identification of additional needs through assessment and outreach and referrals to relevant services provided by NGOs
