Highlights
The situation of the child in the Democratic Republic of Congo is largely determined by the macroeconomic, social and cultural context of the country in which the households live.
However, it is wrong to think that child poverty is the same as that of adults and it is important to collect data on the situation of children and mothers through large household surveys, such as surveys. by Multiple Indicator Cluster (MICS) or Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS), to perform disaggregated analyzes by age, gender and social, economic, cultural and geographical origin. To this end, innovative approaches have been used to analyze the existing data as presented in this document, thanks to the N-MODA tool which analyzes the multiple and cumulative deprivations of the child.
