This report highlights progress in improving nutrition for girls and women in South Asia through 19 case studies from 8 countries.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA) and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) jointly organized a regional conference, ‘Nourishing South Asia – Reducing Anaemia in Adolescent Girls and Women in South Asia’, on 9–11 July 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference included a marketplace with posters from the eight countries showcasing at-scale programme implementation experiences to accelerate the prevention, diagnosis and management of anaemia among the most vulnerable population groups in South Asia. This report summarizes these posters from eight countries as a collection of 19 short essays to inspire countries within and across South Asia.
