A champion for equal opportunities 

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is Armenia’s all-time top goal scorer, scoring a total of 204 goals and 161 assists during the 670 games in his career since his debut in January 2007.

Henrikh is a professional footballer and plays as a midfielder, #77, for Italian club Inter Milan. In 2024, Mkhitaryan has won the Serie A title for Inter.

His previous clubs include A.S. Roma (2019-2022), Arsenal (2018-2020) and Manchester United (2016-2018), where he scored in the 2017 Europa League final and became the first Armenian to win a major European trophy.

He played for Borussia Dortmund from 2013-2016, where he was voted Best Field Player of the season 2015/2016 in Bundesliga with 23 goals and 32 assists in 52 appearances.

He has also played for Shakhtar Donetsk (2010-2013), Metalurh Donetsk (2009-2010), and Pyunik (1995-2006), where he came through the youth system at the age of 17.

Henrikh has been recognized as a five-time Armenian Footballer of the Year and has received a First-Class Order of Services to the Motherland from the President of the Republic of Armenia.

He speaks seven languages (Armenian, Russian, English, French, German, Portuguese) and now Italian. Henrikh is a graduate of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, as well as the Saint Petersburg Institute of Foreign Economic Relations, Yerevan branch.
