Evaluation of the UNICEF Albania Country Programme 2017-2021

This is the evaluation report of the UNICEF Albania Country Programme 2017-2021, developed in partnership with the Government of Albania. The evaluation assesses the UNICEF’s strategic positioning and programmatic choices made, given government priorities and the changing socioeconomic and political context in the country. It provides an independent performance assessment of the country programme, seen in relation to expected results and UNICEF’s contributions to realization of child rights in Albania. The evaluation report identifies good practices and lessons and draws forward-looking recommendations to inform the development of the 2022-2027 UNICEF’s country programme.
