Situation Analysis of the Children with Disabilities in Albania provides comprehensive evidence for better understanding the bottlenecks and the most critical rights violations of children with disabilities. The study enquiry concept considers the life-course of children with disabilities within the context of the socio-ecological framework of human development. The Report brings foremost the perspectives and experiences of children with disabilities and their parents, the specialists who work closely with them, parents of typically developing children, and the national and local authorities. In addition, the Report identifies some critical formative adjustments to fully realise the intentions of the Albanian policy and legislative framework on children with disabilities.
