The Social Services Mapping 2018 is a result of the joint cooperation between the CSO and UNICEF. The survey represents an up-to-date and high-quality database of statistical data that can inform planning, policies and procedures, as well as to identify the needs of the poorest and most disadvantaged groups. It can also be used in evaluating performance by the education, health, water, social protection and child protection sectors with a view to providing data by geographical locations. Prior to conducting this survey in the target areas, no up-to-date inputs were available to inform the existing social structures or design development and intervention mechanisms.
