Highlights
Uganda became a party to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in 1990. One of its obligations under the Convention is to undertake "all appropriate legislative measures for the implementation of the rights recognized in the Convention. The report assess the compatibility of the legislation of Uganda with the rights and principles recognized by the Convention, as well as the first two Optional Protocols to the CRC.
