The World Children's Day, November 20, was marked by numerous events around the world that have drawn attention to children's rights, happy childhood and the creation of opportunities for every child to realize his or her full potential.

UNICEF in Serbia marked this day together with its partners from the public and private sector, and, of course with children, through various events that pointed out the importance of this day for children in Serbia:

In the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia a renewed commitment to advance child rights was given by the Members of the Parliament and the Committee for the Rights of the Child, the Council for Child Rights of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Mayor of Serbia’s capital Belgrade.
