Highlights

The National Thematic Report “Education of Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Children in Serbia” continues the practice of national reporting on inclusive education, initiated by the Ministry of Education with the first National Report on Inclusive Education covering the period from 2015 to 2018.

The report before you presents the results of the Ministry of Education’s work in coordinating the entire education system to ensure continuity in improving equity, accessibility, and openness within the system, with a particular focus on outcomes achieved in supporting the learning of socially and economically disadvantaged children. The aim of this report is to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the situation in the field of education of socially and economically disadvantaged children, in order to further develop, implement, and evaluate measures that provide more effective support at all levels of pre-university education and upbringing.
