Highlights

These education budget briefs explore the extent to which the Government of Rwanda addresses the educational needs of children under 18 years of age. The briefs analyse the size and composition of budget allocations to the education sector, as well as the adequacy of past spending. The budget briefs aim to synthesize complex budget information and offer recommendations to strengthen budgeting for children. The budget data for 2018/19 are from the original budget, while for previous years’ budgets, the data were based on revised budgets.
