These national budget briefs explore the extent to which the Government of Rwanda’s budget addresses the needs of children under 18 years of age as expressed in national development agendas. These briefs analyse the size and composition of budget allocations, focusing on priority sectors for children:
- Health (including nutrition);
- Education;
- Social protection; and
- Water and sanitation.
The budget briefs aim to synthesize complex budget information and offer recommendations to strengthen budgeting for children.
