We develop programs so that all children can be safe, have access to health services, decent living conditions and access to quality education. The social inclusion of every child is the basis of UNICEF's mission in Romania.
Together with our partners, the Government, central and local authorities, NGOs, we have created two initiatives:
- Romania for every child. The safety net in the community. Making social inclusion real - breaking the cycle of exclusion for the most vulnerable children in Romania
- Quality inclusive education package - Our programme aims to ensure that all children start school at the right age, stay in school and learn to their maximum potential, to be prepared for life and employment.
We thank our donors - individuals, private companies and foundations. Your donations help us to support children in Romania and beyond.

UNICEF urgently mobilized to meet the needs of thousands of families and children at risk after two devastating earthquakes and dozens of aftershocks struck several towns on the border between Turkey and Syria on 6 February 2023.
More than 35,000 deaths were reported in total in Turkey and northwestern Syria. Children and families affected by the calamity are in urgent need of shelter, clean water and basic emergency supplies. Hundreds of schools, hospitals and other medical and educational facilities were damaged or destroyed by the earthquakes, having a huge impact on children.
Our thanks go to Yardi, ING, JYSK, as well as to all the companies that have contributed to UNICEF's activities.
Together we stand for every child. And we never give up!
