Joint campaign around World Children's Day between UNICEF and Football Federation of Macedonia to promote children's rights

UNICEF and the Football Federation of Macedonia partnered around World Children’s Day to promote the importance of inclusion, non-discrimination and equality of children and young people in all aspects of life including sports and play.
This year, World Children’s Day takes place the same day as the football World Cup kicks off which creates a unique opportunity to use the power of football to unite and remind the world that there can only be one team when it comes to children’s rights.
The partnership includes joint multimedia campaign under the slogan 'One team for children's rights' with football players from the national teams and children from various background, sharing together positive messages of equality and inclusion for every child.

At the friendly football matches between North Macedonia and Finland (17 November) and North Macedonia and Azerbaijan (20 November), children accompanying the players wore World Children’s Day t-shirts with a message for a more equal, inclusive society for every child.
Kids take over friendly football match to mark World Children's Day
To mark the World Children’s Day and promote children’s rights, UNICEF and the Football Federation of Macedonia organized “kids take over” friendly football match between children, professional players from the national representation, players from Special Olympics and officials.
