Highlights

My pocket guide to child rights is a simplified, child friendly, version of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)

The CRC explains who children are, all their rights, and the responsibilities of governments.

The CRC is an important agreement by countries who have promised to protect children’s rights.

Namibia ratified the CRC on 28 September 1990, which means the Namibian government must make sure that every child has all the rights in the convention.
