Ulaanbaatar, August 12 – UNICEF Mongolia and the Bayangol District Governor’s Office have launched a joint initiative to improve living conditions for 360 households in the district’s ger areas.
The project will install UNICEF-designed insulation and ventilation product called CHIP in homes, helping families reduce heat loss, lower heating costs, and significantly cut indoor air pollution.
Co-financed by UNICEF and the local government, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to cleaner air, healthier homes, and a better future for children in ger communities.
