COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of healthcare workers in the Republic of Moldova

In the Republic of Moldova, the vaccination campaign is taking place in three phases. Currently, the country is in the second phase of vaccination. Here’s what doctors, who have been on the front lines for over a year, have to say.

"What else can you do? Stay scared or say, 'I will overcome everything'? I am not that naive, I’ve been in medicine for 44 years, and I’ve seen many things happen to people who were warned: 'Be careful, the disease will come, and you will lose everything.' You have to get vaccinated, it's the only way to protect yourself from this insidious virus called COVID."
