Highlights
The TREF Equity Action Plan, co-created with TREF stakeholders, provides a strategic framework for advancing equity across Lebanon’s education sector. The Plan identifies key programmatic priorities under the three core pillars of the education system: Equitable Access to Education, Quality of Learning, and System Strengthening.
Its overarching goal is to support the development of a gender-responsive education system that effectively addresses the diverse and intersecting barriers affecting girls’ and boys’ access to, participation in, and benefit from education. By promoting inclusive policies, practices, and learning environments, the Plan seeks to ensure equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for all learners, regardless of gender.
The TREF Equity Action Plan serves as a roadmap for strengthening the education sector’s capacity to foster inclusion, reduce disparities, and advance gender equality within the education system.
