How Girls Lead Change
POWER4Girls is a gender-transformative, multisectoral programme designed with and for adolescent girls. It promotes girls’ leadership, decision-making, agency and access to learning and skills.
In Lebanon, POWER4Girls equips adolescent girls with life-skills and digital assets and learning, and supports them to build sustainable grassroots girls’ networks. Girls also contribute as designers, advisers and evaluators, helping shape solutions that respond to their priorities.
How girls lead change
Equipping adolescent girls with confidence, knowledge, decision-making and leadership skills to challenge harmful gender norms and strengthen their agency and safety from violence.
Equipping girls with the digital skills, tools and confidence to become future creators, innovators and technology leaders. Through hands-on learning in coding, AI, STEAM and digital skills, girls build practical capabilities, solve real-world problems and explore new pathways for learning and future employment. Women digital learning facilitators provide positive role models while strengthening local capacity to sustain and expand these opportunities.
Supporting girls to build and lead sustainable grassroots networks, shape how they operate, make decisions collectively and lead initiatives they chose in their communities.
Providing adolescent girls with tailored, practical information and skills on protection from violence, mental health, online safety and menstrual hygiene to help them navigate risks during emergencies.
POWER4Girls in Lebanon is part of the global POWER4Girls initiative, which aims to accelerate action at scale to advance the rights, well-being and leadership of adolescent girls.
Our Key Achievements
Life skills, leadership and agency
19,090 adolescent girls

Digital assets and learning
1,700 adolescent girls
were reached through digital learning in 2025, helping them learn, create and lead in the digital world. Activities were delivered by 200 women certified as digital learning volunteers, supporting the programme’s sustainability.
Sustainable girls’ networks and community action
Nine grassroots girls’ networks
