Declaration of Santiago
From the 26th to 29th of November, a group of 90 young people from 25 countries met in Santiago de Chile, to reflect, discuss and write a declaration on the situation of the rights of the children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Declaration was shared with more than 300 representatives from governments, academia and international organizations gathered at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America in the First Regional Conference of Latin America and the Caribbean “On the road to equality”: 30 years of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child.”
