Convention of the Rights of the Child
The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is an international treaty that recognizes the human rights of children and adolescents and has already been accepted by all countries in the world, except the United States. The convention changed the way children are seen and treated and on its 30th anniversary, there is a lot to celebrate. This historic day should also serve as a reminder to the countries of what remains to be done for all children to exercise their rights. This week will be dedicated to reflecting on this.
