Highlights

Adolescence is a stage of life marked by growth, challenges, and opportunities. During this period, young people shape their identities, build relationships, and lay the foundation for their future well-being. Providing the right support at the right time can help them navigate this phase with confidence and resilience, which is essential for their holistic development.

UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Population and Family Development/BKKBN, presents the Supporting Adolescents to Thrive module as a learning resource to promote adolescent mental health and well-being in Indonesia. This facilitator’s guide is designed to equip caregivers, teachers, community facilitators, and peer educators with practical guidance to help adolescents develop essential social-emotional skills, manage stress, and build self-confidence. By fostering a supportive environment, adolescents will feel more empowered to express themselves, seek help, and thrive in their personal and social lives.
