Overview of the Complementary Feeding and Diets of Young Children in Europe and Central Asia
Inadequate quality and/or quantity of first foods, poor feeding practices and increased rates of infection have been associated with declines in child height-for-age or length-for-age in most countries.
Highlights
This Regional landscape analysis sheds light on trends and predictors of young children's diets in our region which will assist our partners and country offices across Europe and Central Asia to put in place evidence‑informed advocacy, policy, and programming towards improving the diets, service sand practices to improve the nutritional wellbeing of young children.
