Highlights

The armed conflict in Afghanistan continuous to have particularly harsh consequences for children. In 2015, the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and UNICEF recorded a sharp rise in a number of human rights and protection incidents concerning children in the context of the armed conflict compared to 2014.
