DevInfo is a powerful database system for monitoring human development. It is a tool for organizing, storing and presenting data in a uniform way to facilitate data sharing at the country level across government departments, UN agencies and development partners.
This database contains abstracts and full text reports of evaluations, studies and surveys related to UNICEF programmes. These evaluations determine the relevance, impact, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of our work.
UNICEF’s Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) use house-by-house interviews to gather the most recent data and information on children and their families. MICS are an important source of information of disaggregated data on children.
UNICEF data are used for a variety of planning and monitoring purposes. Researchers, programme managers and legislators worldwide count on UNICEF data to assess the situation of women and children and to plan and implement related policies and programmes.
