Highlights
In 2024, PEPFAR and the Global Fund committed a combined total of USD 362 million to support Zimbabwe's HIV response. However, despite these significant contributions, the country still faces a substantial funding gap of around USD 133 million to meet the resource needs outlined in the Zimbabwe National Strategic Plan for HIV (ZNSP IV). This shortfall jeopardizes the country’s ability to scale up critical services such as prevention, treatment, and care, especially for children and marginalized populations.
