Highlights

To strengthen the protection and safeguarding of children during the electoral period, Child Safeguarding Guidelines were developed and shared with members of 42 political parties. The guidelines provide a framework to help political parties and their members uphold children’s rights, safety and well-being before, during and after the August 2026 General Elections in Zambia.
