Highlights

The UNICEF Country Programme Document (CPD) 2027-2031 outlines the strategic framework for cooperation between UNICEF and the Government of Viet Nam over the next five years. Building on more than 50 years of partnership, the programme aims to ensure that every child can survive, thrive and realize their full potential through investments in inclusive human development, child protection and governance, and child-centred climate and environmental action. The programme places a strong focus on reaching the most vulnerable children and addressing emerging challenges including climate change, digital transformation, mental health and inequality.

  • 28 million children at the centre of the programme.
  • US$85 million indicative programme budget for 2027-2031.
  • Three strategic outcomes: human development, child protection and governance, and climate and environmental action.
  • Cross-cutting priorities include gender equality, partnerships, child and youth participation, and digital transformation.
