For parents and child caregivers.

Acute diarrhea caused by the Rotavirus is a dangerous gastrointestinal infection, capable of triggering epidemics and potentially fatal outcomes in children. UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH), announces the launch of the communication campaign "Protection Your Baby from the First Steps” today to raise public awareness of the Rota vaccine’s critical role in preventing acute diarrhea caused by the Rotavirus, especially among parents and child caregivers. The "Protect Your Baby from the First Steps" campaign urges parents and caregivers to ensure that children receive two complete doses of the Rota vaccine when they are two months of age and before six months to effectively prevent acute diarrhea caused by the virus and support their healthy, holistic development.
