Mosquito nets are a great method of protection for you and your children from directly getting bit by harmful insects that lead to diseases which sometimes are deadly, especially to children under the age of 5. Below are a few illustrations on how thee nets are misused and the only way mosquito nets should be used.

Don’t use the mosquito net for recreational purposes, it is meant to protect you from harmful vector borne disease.

Don’t use the mosquito net to protect your food, mosquito nets are meant to protect humans from getting bitten by mosquitos which cause harmful diseases like malaria.

Don’t use the mosquito net as a decorative household item, it loses its purpose and you and your children will be vulnerable to getting bit by disease carrying mosquitos.

Don’t use the mosquito net for fishing purposes, there are nets made specifically for such activities.

Do hang the mosquito net correctly and sleep under it with your baby, to easily protect your families from diseases like malaria which can be deadly to children under the age of five.
