Ten-year autism strategy and five-year autism action plan for children with ASD

Highlights

• The 10-year autism strategy and five-year action plan set out how health, educational and rehabilitation provision for children with autism spectrum dis-orders (ASD) can be developed within the Sultanate of Oman.

• The 10-year strategy provides guiding principles and aims whereas the five-year action plan sets out measurable actions and outcomes which will help to realise the principles set out in the strategy.

• Both the strategy and action plan are aligned to the articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Sultanate of Oman’s Child Law.
