Join the child and adolescent - led movement against cyberbullying and hate speech
UNICEF and the Foundation Telekom for Macedonia invite children and adolescents to be part of a co-created campaign against cyberbullying and hate speech

Skopje, 16 April 2025: United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Foundation Telekom for Macedonia are launching an open call inviting children and adolescents aged 14 – 17 years old to join a two-year programme against cyberbullying and hate speech.
Under the slogan ‘Block the hate’, the programme is a continuation of the long-standing partnership between UNICEF and the Foundation Telekom for Macedonia in helping children and young people to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing their generation.
The initiative will engage 50 children and adolescents from across the country. They will have an opportunity to be part of the transformative programme where they will develop skills and build their own resilience, be given space to be creative and guidance on how to inspire others. Through the programme and with the support of mentors and psychologists, the participants will build an innovative campaign against online peer violence.
The programme will last two years and will be implemented in partnership with the Scout Association of Macedonia. It will include multiple trainings, workshops and meetings, some of which will be held at the Scout Center in Ohrid.
Who can apply?
- Everyone aged 14-17 from all over the country
- Those who will be committed to continuing the program and participating in follow-up activities

The purpose of the partnership is to create a movement for an internet free of cyberbullying and hate speech through education, co-creation and concrete action led by children as advocates who will inspire others to join and expand the movement throughout the country.
