Highlights

Nigeria, poised to become the third most populous nation by 2050,
faces immense challenges – particularly in ensuring the well-being of its
vast young population. More than half of the children aged 0–17 years live in
multidimensional poverty, especially in rural and conflict-affected regions.

Our collaboration with the Nigerian government and various partners has been
instrumental in achieving significant milestones for children. We are thankful for
the government’s support and commitment to enhancing children’s rights and
welfare. This partnership is crucial as we implement our shared goals under the
Country Programme 2023–2027.
