Highlights

Namibia is one of the countries inherently vulnerable to climate change in sub-Saharan Africa.

Periodic droughts and floods are known climate threats, seriously impacting agriculture and food security, water availability and health, catalysing forest fires and undermining Namibia’s already low climate resilience and adaptive capacities.

This report provides the essential baseline information on climate, environment and energy (CEE) issues affecting children, as well as recommendations to the Country Office on incorporating the most important issues and opportunities in the Country Programme.
