Provincial Governors Made Formal Commitments for Children

The Cabinet Secretariat of Government of Mongolia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and UNICEF Mongolia jointly organized a two-day “Provincial Workshop for Children” in Ulaanbaatar.

During the workshop, UNICEF Mongolia presented key findings and trends from situation analyses of children and the quality and accessibility of social services across all 21 provinces.

Participants also exchanged views on strengthening policy coherence and improving collaboration and child-focused financing among the government, the private sector, and civil society organizations.

As a result of the workshop, governors from all provinces signed their Commitments for Children, pledging to deliver measurable and impactful progress on key child-focused priorities for 2026.
